This Starward single malt marks the tenth anniversary of the Melbourne distillery, a decade of whisky making. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is drawn from the eight varieties of cask Starward has used over the years, including red wine and fortified wine casks.
The nose is bitter orange, Black Forest gateau, cinder toffee and stewed plum. The palate brings black pepper, clove, dark chocolate, honey, sultana and more plum. The finish is lemon, malt, and strawberry and raspberry jam.
