Starward 2018/2021 Octave Barrels is an Australian single malt, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2021 at 48% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in octave barrels, small casks that bring the whisky into close contact with the wood. This gives the malt the cask-led style of the Starward distillery.
In the glass it is described as fruity, spicy and full-bodied, with a warm sweetness and a clear cask influence.
