A four-year-old Australian single malt from Starward, drawn from a single barrel and bottled at a cask strength of 55.5%. The whisky was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2021.
It matured first in a fresh red wine cask from the Barossa Valley, then spent time in a charred American oak barrique for a finish. Starward's fruity new make meets both woods in a full flavour profile.
Toasted oak, soft vanilla and blackcurrant are said to dominate.
