This Austria Edition from Australian distillery Starward was bottled exclusively for Austria. The whisky was distilled in September 2017 and spent four years in a single French red wine barrique from the Barossa Valley, barrel no. 2393, before being filled in December 2021. The edition numbers 240 bottles. The notes are rich and fruity: blackcurrant, a touch of warming cinnamon and ripe pear.
