This is an Australian single malt from the Starward Distillery in Melbourne, bottled at 48% in a 50cl bottle. It has been finished in ginger beer casks. The distillery looks at whisky through the eyes of brewers and winemakers, and uses ingredients from its own region. Its whisky matures mostly in lightly charred or steamed red wine barrels from Australian wineries, and three years is enough there for a fruity maturity. Melbourne's climate, with weather that shifts constantly and averages up to 22.5°C, is credited with that pace.
