Left-Field is a single malt from Starward, the distillery in Melbourne, Australia. It is matured in red wine casks and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Starward makes its whisky only from ingredients of the region and favours lightly charred or steamed Australian red wine barrels. The distillery says the changeable Melbourne weather, its 'four seasons in a day', brings the spirit to a fruity maturity in as little as three years.
