Starward – Nova Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 41%)

Starward Nova is the signature single malt of the Starward Distillery in Australia. It matures entirely in Australian red wine casks, which are filled with new make soon after they are emptied. This wet fill approach shapes the fruit-led style of the whisky, which is bottled at 41%. The nose brings red berries, dark chocolate, orchard fruit and gentle oak spice. On the palate come chocolatey berry pudding, vanilla, caramel and spices. The finish is soft and long, with red fruit and fine oak.
