Starward – Nova (70cl, 41%)

Starward Nova is an Australian single malt, bottled by the distillery at 41% in a 70cl bottle. It is double distilled from Australian barley, with craft brewers' yeast used for extra character. The whisky matured only in ex Australian wine casks, often filled while still wet to bring through bold fruit flavours from the wine. It was aged for three years. The tasting notes mention bright aromas of red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel and soft oak spice, with a notably long finish.
