Starward – Projects UnexPeated 2017/2021 (48%)

Starward Projects UnexPeated is an experimental release from the Australian Starward distillery, bottled at 48% ABV. It starts with a fruity Australian whisky matured entirely in red wine casks, which is then finished in casks that previously held peated Islay single malt. Part of the Project Series, it pairs the peaty smoke of the Scottish coast with Starward's juicy, tropical fruit character. The whisky was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2021.
