Starward Solera is a 43% single malt from the Starward distillery in Melbourne, Australia, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in Apera wine barrels. Starward makes its whisky from ingredients of its own region and takes a brewer's and winemaker's view of the spirit. Its malts are mostly aged in red wine casks from Australian wineries, and the distillery credits Melbourne's quickly shifting weather, with temperatures averaging up to 22.5°C, for a fruity maturity in only a few years.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
