Starward – Two-Fold Double Grain Whisky (70cl)

Two-Fold is an Australian double-grain whisky from Starward, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley, which gives depth, and Australian wheat, which adds an aromatic, dry flavour. The whisky is matured in lightly charred or steamed barrels sourced from Australian wineries that make shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. The barrels are often filled fresh, while still wet with wine. Each whisky is matured separately in Melbourne's varied climate, then combined. Starward describes it as smooth, with spiced vanilla, tropical fruit and cereal notes, rounded with red apples and berries.
