Starward – Two-Fold Double Grain Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Starward Two-Fold is an Australian double grain whisky made from wheat and malted barley and matured in Australian red wine barrels. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The whisky spends three "Melbourne years" in barrel, in the city's changeable and highly reactive climate. Starward was started in 2007 by David Vitale, who set out to make an approachable Australian whisky that reflects his home town. The nose offers spiced vanilla, tropical fruit and cereals. The palate is rounded, with red apples and berries, and the finish is delicate, with soft tannins and lingering red fruits.
