Islay cask finish
A 2017 single malt from Starward, the Melbourne distillery, finished in Islay casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle. Starward makes its whisky only from ingredients of the region and matures it largely in lightly charred or steamed Australian red wine barrels. The distillery says the changeable Melbourne weather, its 'four seasons in a day', brings the spirit to a fruity maturity in as little as three years.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
