Unexpeated is an Australian single malt from Starward, matured in Melbourne. The casks were filled in 2017 and the whisky was bottled in 2021 at 48%, in a 70cl bottle. It began its maturation in red wine barrels, which gave it dry, dark fruit flavours. It was then moved into barrels that had held peated whisky from Islay distilleries, adding a peat character that is new to Starward.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
