Starward Vitalis is a limited edition single malt made to mark a major milestone in Starward's history. It is named after the founder, David Vitale, and is bottled at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a mix of cask types: red wine, sherry, bourbon and apera.
The nose brings red berries, dried figs, toffee apple and baking spice. On the palate come stewed fruits, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a hint of citrus zest, and the finish is long and warming, with balanced oak and sweet spice.
