This is a Danish single malt from Stauning, distilled on 1 October 2015 and bottled in June 2020 at 55.5% ABV. It comes in a 50cl bottle, with an outturn of 342 bottles.
After maturation the whisky was finished in Madeira casks. The name Heather refers to the floral and spicy notes in the bottling.
The nose offers ripe fruit, raisins, honey and floral notes. The palate is full and intense, with sweet wine influence, spice, malt and a light bitterness, and a warm, almost syrupy texture. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with Madeira lingering.
