Stauning – Bastard (70cl)

Stauning Bastard is a Danish rye whisky made from local ingredients, malted on the floor at the distillery and double-distilled in flame-heated pot stills. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The spirit spent at least three years in new, toasted virgin American oak casks, then at least six months in old mezcal casks from Oro de Oaxaca in Mexico. The aftertaste is described as gentle and exotic.
