Stauning El Clasico Batch 1 is a Danish rye whisky and the first release in the distillery’s Research Series. It matured in virgin American oak before a further period in vermouth casks. Unfiltered and naturally coloured, it is bottled at 45.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its character combines fruity sweetness with spice, following maturation in the two cask types.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
