El Clásico is a Danish rye whisky from Stauning in Skjern, bottled at 45.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. After maturation it was finished in vermouth casks.
The idea comes from the pairing of rye whisky and sweet vermouth in the Manhattan cocktail. The whisky has a deep amber colour, and the aftertaste is sweet with a touch of bitter botanicals.
