Stauning Host is a Danish double malt in a 70cl bottle, at 40.5% ABV. It marries single malt whisky with malted rye whisky, made from floor-malted Danish rye and Danish barley.
The spirit is double distilled in 24 small, direct-fired copper pot stills, then aged in American oak casks with a touch of Port wood.
Stauning describes it as smooth, fruit-forward and floral.
