Stauning KAOS 2017 is a Danish single grain whiskey from Stauning Whisky, in a 50cl bottle. It was distilled in 2013 and 2014 and bottled in April 2017 at 47.3% ABV. KAOS brings together different distillates, combining smoke, malt and grain in one bottling. The nose has soft smoke, grain, light sweetness and a subtle spiciness. The palate is round and slightly oily, with malt, smoke, pepper, vanilla and a touch of dry wood. The finish is medium to long, with lingering smoke and a slightly bitter grain texture.
