Stauning – Kaos (Design Edition)

Stauning Kaos is a Danish whisky from Stauning Whisky, here in its Design Edition. It is described as lightly smoked, spicy and sweet, with a character that brings together a touch of smoke, a hint of spice and layers of complexity. It is meant to be flexible. It can be taken neat, or with ice, or used in whisky cocktails. The nose is cereals, chocolate, oak, caramel, cinnamon and bonfire smoke. The palate recalls a smoked chocolate bar, with nougat, caramel, liquorice, sweet apple and oak. The finish is long and smoky, with vanilla, orange, tobacco, dried red fruit and more oak.
