Kaos is a peated whisky from the Stauning distillery in Denmark, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The peat is introduced gently rather than up front. The nose is a compote of pear, apple and quince, and the palate is rich, with hazelnuts and soft spices before the peat smoke slowly arrives. The finish stays subtly peaty and smoky, with white pepper and honey.
