Stauning – Kaos Triple Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Stauning Kaos is a Danish triple malt whisky that marries the distillery's rye, a single malt, and a single malt smoked with heather and peat. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The grain is 100% locally sourced, floor-malted Danish rye and barley, double distilled in 24 small, direct-fired copper pot stills. Maturation took place in virgin American white oak barrels and first-fill fortified wine and spirits casks. The whisky is described as complex yet smooth, with hints of smoke, spice and sweet citrus fruit.
