This is a Danish rye whisky from Stauning, made as a limited edition. The rye and barley come from fields in the immediate neighbourhood of the distillery and were malted by traditional floor-malting.
After maturing in virgin American oak, the whisky was finished in first-fill Vermont maple syrup casks. It was bottled at a cask strength of 53.5% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colouring, in a worldwide run of 2,500 bottles.
