Stauning – Rye

Stauning Rye is a Danish rye whisky made from malted rye and barley and distilled in pot stills. It is meant to recall freshly baked Danish rye bread, with rich, roasted aromas and a lasting fruity finish. The nose has freshly baked rye bread, wine gums and a hint of pepper. The palate is gentle, with dried fruit, ripe cherry and peppery oak, balanced by vanilla and citrus peels. It ends in a long, smooth, fruity and sweet finish with pepper in it.
