Stauning Smoke Batch 01 is the first bottling of this Danish single malt, made from floor-malted barley. The barley was dried over peat and heather smoke, and the whisky is bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in first fill rum, bourbon and Madeira casks. Stauning bottled it without added colour and without chill filtration. The whisky is noted for its smoky aroma.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
