Stauning – Smoke (Design Edition)

Stauning Smoke is a lightly smoked single malt from the Stauning distillery, made as an expression of its New Nordic whisky approach. It uses only local ingredients, with the barley malted on open floors and smoked over locally sourced peat and heather. The spirit is distilled twice in small pot stills heated by direct flame, then matured in first-fill wine and spirit casks. This is the Design Edition. The smoke is gentle, like a bonfire, alongside citrus and honey, with heather in the background. On the palate come tobacco, nuts, vanilla and fresh herbs.
