Stauning – Smoke Single Malt Danish Whisky (70cl, 47%)

Stauning Smoke is a single malt from the Stauning distillery in Skjern, Denmark, in a 70cl bottle at 47% ABV. It is a mildly smoked whisky, made from local ingredients and malted on open floors. The smoke comes from locally harvested peat and heather found in the landscape around the distillery. The spirit is double-distilled in small flame-heated pot stills and aged in first-fill wine and spirits casks. The distillery presents it as the essence of its New Nordic approach to whisky.
