Stauning – Smoke

Stauning Smoke is a mildly smoked single malt made from malting barley grown in West Jutland. The barley is smoked over locally harvested peat and heather. The whisky is brewed from local ingredients, floor malted, double distilled in small pot stills over open fire and matured in first fill wine and spirits casks. The smoke is gentle, and the character is described as evoking the dunes, heath and wind by the North Sea.
