Still Austin Straight Rye "The Artist" (75cl, 49.8%)

A straight rye whiskey from Still Austin Whiskey Co., released as "The Artist" in a 75cl bottle (750 ml) at 49.8% ABV, or 99.6 proof. The mash bill is 100% locally grown Texas rye. It is distilled in a 42-foot custom column still and aged in the Texas heat, in a grain-to-glass process. The nose is fresh mint, dark cherry, warm honey and light white pepper. The palate offers black tea, cinnamon and orange peel, softened by caramel and toasted oak. The finish is warm, with dark fruit and gentle baking spice.
