This is a 9 year old Orkney single malt from a single first-fill bourbon cask, bottled at cask strength of 58.8% for Single Cask Nation. It was distilled in July 2014 and bottled in March 2024, with 275 bottles filled.
The palate is rich and oily, with a light peppery fizz on the tongue. Warm honey and golden raisins sit alongside gentle anise seed, yuzu marmalade and lemon chews.
The finish is long. Key lime pie gives way to oatcakes with cracked black pepper.
