Stonewood Woaz is a five year old Bavarian wheat malt whisky from the Steinwald distillery of Schraml in Erbendorf, in a 35cl bottle at 43% vol. It is made from wheat and barley and matured in American white oak. The name comes from the Bavarian word for wheat.
The colour is a bright, pale gold. The nose is spicy and malty, with fresh wood and a hint of banana. On the palate come roasted malt, vanilla, cinnamon and mocha, and the very long finish carries a touch of gentle smoke.
