This is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Strathisla, a bottling from the 1990s.
It is sweet and fruity on the nose, with honey, oak and sherry, along with subtle citrus and dry spring grass. The palate is creamy and sweet, with honeyed raisins, sultanas and a touch of Madeira, plus grassy and copper-metallic notes.
The finish is long, fruity and spirity, with oak developing towards the end.
