Strathisla 12 Year Old, in its Old Label presentation, is a Highland malt Scotch whisky from the 2000s.
The nose is malty and rich, with spice, fruit, a whiff of smoke, wood oils, resins, winter spice, marmalade and a thick creaminess.
On the palate it is medium bodied, creamy and full, with dried fruit, honeyed raisins, sultanas, a little Madeira and mixed peel over a subtle smokiness. The finish is fruity and spirity as the oak develops.
