This is a 40 year old Strathisla, a Speyside single malt distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2013 at 43% by Gordon & MacPhail. It comes in a 70cl bottle and belongs to their Distillery Labels series.
It was the last of G&M's Strathisla releases from this vintage, and a small batch vatting of just two casks: a refill sherry butt and a first fill sherry hogshead.
It is described as full of dark chocolate, raisins and tropical fruit flavours.
