This is a 30 year old single cask Strathisla from Speyside, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2019 by Wilson & Morgan in its Barrel Selection series. Cask number 5939 gave 115 bottles, at a cask strength of 54.2% ABV.
The whisky matured in a refill hogshead and was then finished in a second fill Oloroso sherry hogshead.
Malt, oak and dried fruit come with sherry spice and mineral notes, and the structure is dry.
