Strathisla – Un-Chillfiltered 10 Year Old 2016/2026 (46%)

This is a Speyside single malt from Strathisla, bottled by Signatory Vintage in its Un-Chillfiltered Collection at 46% ABV. It was distilled on 27 May 2016 and bottled in 2026. The spirit first filled refill sherry butts, numbers 22 and 23, and was then finished for over two years in a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry butt. It is non-chill-filtered and natural colour, with a warm honey tone that comes from the wood alone. The bottle is supplied in a black round tin. The character is described as dense and fruity, with a fine sherry spiciness.
