A 2024 Sauvignon Blanc from the Sonoma Coast, made under the Summer Dreams label by Jayson Woodbridge of Hundred Acre. The wine is named for his first walk on a California beach.
The fruit comes from one of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc sites in California, planted in 1980, on Goldridge soils of decomposed sandstone. Twenty per cent Musqué clone adds lifted, floral aromatics. The wine is aged on its lees in acacia puncheons.
It shows sliced lemon, green mango and flint, with tangy acidity and a vivid finish.
