This is a Japanese whisky made to mark the 60th year of Suntory, bottled at 43% in a 76cl bottle. It is an older bottling.
The name refers to 1899, the year Torii Shinjiro, the founder of Suntory, opened his wine shop, Torii Shoten. That shop was the beginning of what became Suntory.
The whisky draws on Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita.
