A Japanese single grain whisky from Suntory's Chita distillery in Aichi Prefecture, in a 70cl bottle. This is the 2014 Version of the Chita grain whisky.
It was matured in a mix of American white oak, Spanish oak and wine casks. The Chita distillery was established in 1972.
The nose offers crème brûlée, ripe melon, citrus zest and acacia honey. On the palate it is smooth and clean, with sweet vanilla, toasted almond and a hint of mint. The finish is medium in length, with delicate sweetness and a touch of oak spice.
