Suntory Old Whisky Year of the Dog 2018 is a Japanese blended whisky released to celebrate the Chinese zodiac. It belongs to Suntory's zodiac series, which began in 1982, and comes at 43% ABV.
Its character centres on caramel, vanilla and gentle oak. On the nose, apple, cereal and delicate floral aromas accompany the sweetness. The palate is creamy, with a little spice, leading to a medium-long finish of caramel, vanilla and warming oak.
