Suntory Old Whisky Year of the Horse 2026 (70cl, 43%)

This is a limited edition blended whisky from Suntory, made for the 2026 zodiac year of the horse. The golden label shows a white horse above rippling waves. It is in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. Suntory Old has been made since 1950, and its rounded bottle is nicknamed daruma or tanuki. Spanish oak cask malt is a key part of the blend, and in recent years that component has been strengthened. The nose is soft sweetness with a delicate scent of dried fruits. The palate is mellow and full-bodied, with richness from the Spanish oak cask malt. The finish is gently sweet, calm and rounded.
