This is Suntory Special Reserve, a Japanese whisky released as a commemorative bottle for the 1985 Suntory Open golf tournament. Suntory is the oldest whisky-making company in Japan, with roots in a shop started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro that specialised in selling imported wines. Today it is the largest and most recognisable whisky maker in Japan.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
