Suntory Special Reserve is a Japanese blended whisky made with whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was first launched in 1969 to mark the 70th anniversary of Suntory, and was originally blended by Keizo Saji, the company's second-generation president.
The blend has probably evolved since then. Various casks go into it.
