Suntory White is a Japanese blended whisky combining malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 40% in a 64cl bottle. Created by Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii and introduced in 1929, it is also known as Shiro.
Its character is straightforward and grain-led. The aroma brings honeyed cereal and a little oak spice, while the soft, light palate has brief vanilla sweetness and a gently dry edge. The finish is short and clean, with lingering grain and a slight astringency that soon fades.
