Talisker 10 Year Old is a single malt from the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fresh and fragrant, with thick, pungent smoke, sweet pear and apple peel, and pinches of maritime salt from kippers and seaweed. The palate is a crackling peat bonfire with black pepper, a touch of brine and dry barley, balanced by orchard fruit. The finish is long, with bonfire embers, toasted malt and a sugary underlay.
