Talisker 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, founded in 1830. It is matured for ten years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 45.8% in a 20cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colour. It is described as strongly peaty, with a maritime character and a distinctive pepperiness.
The nose brings smoky, salty sea air with some sweetness and light spice. The palate is full, with peat smoke, black pepper and subtle fruit. The finish is warm, smoky and long, with a touch of spice.
