Talisker – 18 Year Old (70cl, 45.8%)

Talisker 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colour. The whisky matures in both ex-bourbon casks of American white oak and ex-sherry casks of European oak. The bourbon casks are described as adding soft vanilla and woody tones, while the sherry casks bring more body and fruity complexity. It is typically described as showing peat smoke, sea salt and dark fruit, with a long, spicy finish that carries the distillery's gentle chilli catch.
