Talisker 1986 Distillers Edition is an Island single malt from Skye and the inaugural release in the series, finished in Jerez Amoroso sherry casks. It was distilled in 1986 and bottled in 1999 at 45.8%, in a 70cl bottle.
It was the Skye distillery's first example of double cask maturation. The Distillers Edition series offers cask-finished versions of the Classic Malts.
The whisky has been described as lightly smoky and salty.
